| continuing my love of mythology, here lies venus ~ goddess of love and beauty using stamps, thick layers of slips that are applied during greenware and then fired in our soda kiln at Lillstreet. She luckily got placed on the bottom shelf and caught major soda. she's very 'crispy!' method: soda clay • flashing slips • glaze • fired to c. 10 reduction | ||||||||||||||||
